Dirtbag Leftist of the Week - Senator Alex Padilla
Who could have ever imagined the Democrat Party would morph into the party that demands “blood," and fight to keep 8 and 9-year-old kids picking marijuana in 100-degree heat on an illegal weed farm?
I have written many things that have rubbed some folks the wrong way, resulting in some mean-spirited words directed toward me. Some have even asked why I do not respond, so I remind them that my vanity is such that I take everything said to me as a compliment. This may result in more venom.
I will hold off on writing on why grasshopper hind legs demonstrate more power than kangaroo hind legs, and on the history of the underrecognized "Down-South Submarine (AKA the Kazoo)." It was invented by a freed slave in Macon, Georgia, in the 1840s, named Alabama Vest, in collaboration with a clock-maker, Thaddeus Von Clegg.
Instead, I will present my perspective of a Senator I did not know, or would be able to recognize in a police line-up until a few weeks ago, Alex Padilla. In this case, offering Senator Padilla as an example of the dirtbag leftist.
Alex Padilla is the first Latino to represent California in the U.S. Senate. To have earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 1994, he doesn’t comport himself as one of the sharpest knives in the drawer. But his positions are at least consistent, given that he first became politically active responding to California’s Proposition 187 in 1994, which aimed to restrict services for undocumented immigrants. But I take that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, knowing that he worked as an aide to Senator Dianne Feinstein and managed campaigns for Democratic candidates in the late 1990s.
At age 26, he was elected to the Los Angeles City Council in 1999, becoming its youngest and first Latino president in 2001. He also served as acting mayor just after 9/11 and two terms in the California State Senate (2006–2014).
In 2014, he was elected California Secretary of State and reelected in 2018. Governor Gavin Newsom appointed him on January 20, 2021, to fill Kamala Harris’s seat, sworn in by Harris herself, becoming the first Latino to represent California in the Senate. He became California’s senior senator in Sept 2023 after Senator Dianne Feinstein passed away. Most of his policy interests, from what I have read, target voting rights, climate initiatives, and, of course, immigration.
As I said prior, he did not come to my view until June 2025, when he was detained and briefly handcuffed while trying to question Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem at a Los Angeles press conference.
Senate Democrats are introducing legislation designed to force immigration officers to wear clear identification while making public arrests. Introduced by Sens. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) and Cory Booker (D-N.J.), the VISIBLE Act would require officers to display their agency name, their personal name, or badge number during enforcement actions. More importantly, it would prohibit federal law enforcement officers from wearing non-medical masks or balaclavas that hide their faces. In a statement accompanying the bill, Padilla said:
“When federal immigration agents show up and pull someone off the street in plainclothes with their face obscured and no visible identification, it only escalates tensions and spreads fear while shielding federal agents from basic accountability,”
The legislation would apply to the Department of Homeland Security, as well as those from other federal, state, or local departments that have been recruited to help with mass deportations.
Padilla cited incidents in California recently in which news reports said immigration officials did not identify themselves when looking for undocumented immigrants.
“When federal immigration agents show up and pull someone off the street in plainclothes with their face obscured and no visible identification, it only escalates tensions and spreads fear while shielding federal agents from basic accountability.”
This type of perspective and logic, in my opinion, is dumber than dumb, and assumes that law enforcement of the HHS, ATF, and ICE variety just deals with cases of jay-walking and speeding. These folks deal with the worst of the worst and frequently target folks affiliated with terrorists and cartel variety indigents. In FY 2024, HSI made 32,608 criminal arrests, seized 1.6 million pounds of narcotics, and identified 1,783 child exploitation victims. Why, because their mission includes disrupting Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs), including Mexican drug cartels. While some high-profile cases are cartel-related, the figures aggregate broader criminal activity (drugs, cybercrime, trafficking).
The year prior, HSI conducted 33,108 criminal arrests, seized over 1.2 million pounds of narcotics, and $949 million in assets. Many operations, such as Operation Community Shield, focus on gangs tied to cartels, and historically, nearly half of their gang-related task force arrests have cartel ties (e.g., 46% in Southern Tempest). These folks need masks because they are being shot at and target criminals known to target/dox federal agents.
Wearing a mask isn’t new. Law enforcement officers, especially those involved in anti-cartel operations, often wear masks or face coverings for several critical reasons. Cartels are notoriously violent and retaliatory. Officers, agents, or informants risk retaliation against themselves or their families, doxxing (exposing personal information), and targeted assassinations, increasingly a concern near the U.S. border.
By wearing masks, officers shield their names and faces from media or surveillance, and their families from potential threats. These cartels and their affiliates ain’t no joke. Cartels often use sophisticated surveillance, including video footage from drones or smartphones, social media mining, and AI-based facial recognition. Masks help thwart these tactics by obscuring facial data and preventing identification through open-source databases.
These practices have been employed in the U.S. without question, given that many officers are part of undercover operations, tactical units (SWAT or DEA), and joint task force operations involving multiple overlapping jurisdictions. Meaning, masks ensure uniform anonymity, the protection of ongoing operations, and agent cover identities. Plus, in raids, masks (often part of full-face tactical gear) also provide ballistic protection, chemical/biological safety (tear gas, smoke, etc.), and aid with dust/debris shielding in desert or urban combat zones. Thus, in dealing with a criminal context, anonymity isn’t paranoia, it’s survival.
Padilla, being a graduate of MIT, and others, the likes of AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Cory Booker, Karen Bass, Gavin Newsom, and more recently out of the woodworks - Stacy Abrams, should know this. Stop talking like ICE is criminal, it makes you as bad as Antifa and Trantifa. You’re helping, encouraging the folks to go after law enforcement. Padilla and Booker are as ridiculous and dangerous as Hakeem Jeffries.
Once again, California Democrat party politicians and officials just don't get it. This is all about America First. These fools must know that ️ Federal laws always supersede and trump state laws for immigration. Saying they need to unmask when they have not in the past decades is a dumb request. If that is the case, then the people wearing the masks who are rioting shouldn't be wearing masks either. The rioters would think twice before acting like such idiots. That way, the officers and their supporters could take pictures, identify the agitators, and make arrests. They only hide their faces in shame because they know what they're doing is wrong. If you're here illegally, they know exactly who's coming for them.
They are all bich mutha fuckas (synonymous with dirtbag leftist) in my eyes, and I use the term colloquially because these males in all black likely have sex at all, let alone with women. Maybe these Democrat politicians should have their protection taken away. After all, LA Mayor Karen Bass says that the LA riots "never happened."
Who could have ever imagined the Democrat Party would morph into the party that demands “blood to grab the attention of the press and public,” and fight to keep unaccompanied 8 and 9-year-old kids picking marijuana in 100-degree heat on an illegal weed farm? These represent what a contributing writer for Commentary Magazine, Christine Rosen, illuminates as the “dirtbag left.”
If they want ICE agents to show a visible ID, then I argue that illegal immigrants have to wear a sign, letting the agents know that they are here illegally. Whatever the case, I know one thing: we need to change the law so ICE can do their jobs and politicians can’t get in their way. This is starting to get ridiculous, and enough is enough.
This past February, flyers were posted showing the names, pictures, and phone numbers of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in a Southern California neighborhood. They were written in Spanish, and translated read :
"CAREFUL WITH THESE FACES."
This week, ICE agents, along with other federal law enforcement officers, were targeted in at least two ambushes in Texas in recent days. Monday, the DOJ named 10 individuals charged with shooting a police officer in the neck and opening fire on other correctional officers outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, on the Fourth of July. Dressed in all black, they started shooting fireworks at the facility before opening fire with long arms. The facility is being used by the Department of Homeland Security to hold people awaiting deportation.
One of the suspects involved in the anti-ICE attack at the Prairieland Detention Facility in Alvarado had been granted a green card under the Biden administration and is a prior recipient of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
In San Fransico, video shows violent anti-ICE rioters clashing with ICE agents, trying to stop alleged deportations. Posted by the agency on X, the video shows masked protesters scuffling with ICE agents wielding batons. At one point, people in all black appeared to attempt to access a black ICE vehicle parked outside the courthouse. The group of rioters is observed lunging at officers and climbing onto the hood of the vehicle.
After this occurrence, ICE posted:
"This behavior is NOT protesting,… It’s assaulting federal employees while they’re on duty. It’s impeding federal officers. It’s ILLEGAL. It’s DANGEROUS. And it will NOT stop us from enforcing immigration law."
Similar unruly behaviors were captured at a marijuana farm in California. The Glass House Farms, a licensed cannabis facility, on Laguna Road and Las Posas Road in Camarillo and Carpinteria, saw mutiple raids by federal immigration enforcement officers this past week, where 10 illegal immigrant juvenile children, 8 of whom were unaccompanied, were found, Instead of asking, why are unaccompanied children working on a weed farm in the first place, they say nothing, rather point fingers as ICE and Trump foe enforcing laws passed by Congress.
Now, the farm is being investigated for potential child labor violations by CBP. During this operation, one “protester” pulled a gun on ICE agents during the raid, and many others threw rocks and bricks at vehicles (video). Although Rep. Jamsime Crockett claims:
"Violence is all coming from MAGA, not the left. Even the 2 who tried killing Trump are Trump supporters."
Others, like a Member of Congress from Los Angeles, Rep. Jimmy Gomez, go even further, pushing the narrative that this was a raid targeting “farm workers who feed America,” when the record notes that this was a criminal warrant being served at a cannabis farm. Gomez posted:
“How many MS-13 gang members are waking up at 3 a.m. to pick strawberries? O’yeah, zero! Trump said he’d go after “bad hombres,” but he’s targeting the immigrant farm workers who feed America. Either he lied - or he can’t tell the difference.”
I just want to know where these anti-ICE people stand. If you listen to what they say, ICE is the human traffickers, not the Cartels. In 1850, Democrats asked who was going to pick our cotton. In 2025, it's who is going to pick our weed, or worse, how can we keep children picking weed in our fields, who we can pay as little as we want to work, because they are easy to exploit, being in the country illegally.
Those protestors could be picking the crops. There seems to be MORE protestors than workers, and if they have time to riot and throw objects at federal officers, they are likely unemployed to begin with. I mean, it’s a pot farm, should not be difficult to find plenty of U.S. weedheads who would love to have those jobs. Why do Americans have to pay for the higher education of illegal immigrants, when we could pay the tuition of our own citizens?
As far as Karen Bass, I do not have words. Article 2 says executive powers are given to the President. This means Trump has the authority to enforce our borders. Karen Bass should learn and accept this; instead, she grandstands. She knows that in LA, the MacArthur Park community bears the heavy burden due to the city’s fentanyl epidemic. Mom and pop shops suffer from a spike in shoplifting, residents feel unsafe near the park, and people overdose and die.
This park has been overrun by drug dealers for the past 20 to 30 years, and there have always been rumors that if they drained the lake, at least one or two bodies would be found. Trash is scattered everywhere, with numerous gang members, drug addicts, and homeless encampments throughout the park at all times. I don't understand why the park appears so clean and well-maintained in the video. The feds did what Bass hasn’t done in her whole term. They made MacArthur Park safe.
People take a good, long look at California before you decide to vote for more of that. The lawmakers who are interfering with law enforcement in California, or anywhere, should be put in prison. If a regular citizen were to do that, we would be visited by the FBI with a cell waiting for me in a penitentiary.
Senator Padilla is just another Dirtbag leftist, only he wears suits. He should know all of the above, and that the fact is the agents only started wearing face masks after urging democrat supporters to dox the agents, leading to violence and threats of violence against them and their families.
Why put the ICE agents in danger if removing them makes them a target for someone who is illegal in our country? They should be concerned with unmasking the protestors. You’ve got to believe. Anyone voting for him in the future is stupid.
Trump needs to authorize the use of deadly force against anyone aiming firearms at law enforcement; this is past due. If I were president, the 82nd Airborne would have been deployed long ago, and we would be raiding city halls, too.
Is crossing the border illegally constitutional? If someone breaks into your house, they don't get to stay in your house and work. This is America, not Honduras, Mexico, Iran, Ukraine, etc. Come here legally and stay out of trouble, and you'll be fine. The Democratic Party is now the party of unaccompanied illegal alien children being used for labor at weed farms.
You can not claim asylum; asylum is granted. You can request asylum, but we do not grant asylum to everyone who asks for it. We reserve the right to turn down any individual who requests asylum if they don't meet the requirements. But this isn’t about asylum for them. They admit it out loud that they don't care about them as people; they care about the cheap labor.
What good is it to buy peaches, pecans, or strawberries cheap, but pay property, state, and federal taxes out the azz to fund the social safety net for exploited illegals by employers paying wages 1-step up from slavery? Riddle me this, Batman.

I have been saying this for a couple of years now, the Democrats ( actually Communists hiding under the Democrat label) are not supporting the illegals because they care about them, it’s because they hate America and Americans and want a Socialist/Communist State and total control over us
We have witnessed the normalization of depravity, and criminality masquerading as social justice.
