I agree that it should be about accountability but I want to see Trump exonerated for all of the allegations and lawfare hurled at him. Trump did not prosecute Clinton for her emails but maybe he should have…it would have set a tone then. I personally do not want court classes “dropped” b/c he is POTUS. I want them overturned based on violations of constitutionality, court miss-conduct, ethics violations and election interference. I want the EG Carroll episode to be brought to light, James, Bragg, Willis, Merchan, et al to be sanctioned. Yes accountability and yes to being exonerated.

Matthew Colangelo, a former senior Biden Justice Department official, is leading the political prosecution of President Trump with Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding documents and information about the Biden Department of Justice's (DOJ) coordination with New York County District Attorney (DANY) Attorney Alvin Bragg and his politicized prosecution of President Donald J. Trump. Matthew Colangelo, a former senior DOJ official, is a lead prosecutor for Bragg and the case centers on testimony from a convicted felon who had been previously prosecuted by the Justice Department.

Since last year, popularly elected prosecutors—who campaigned for office on the promise of prosecuting President Trump—engaged in an unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority: the indictment of a former President of the United States and current leading candidate for that office. Given the perception that the Biden DOJ is assisting in Bragg's politicized prosecution, the Committee is seeking to further understand the scope of Colangelo's employment and his obsession with investigating President Trump. Jake Sullivan too.

"What Trump is going to do is teach you such a scorched earth lesson that it will make Sherman’s March through Georgia look like a Joe Biden ice cream party." Ouch, but correct.

It seems to me that so many within the "destroy trump at any cost" apparatus had been convinced that there was no possibility of any repercussions, ever, for anything in contravention to standing law that they might choose to do: because destroying trump by any means was the holy grail, to be admired and respected. So much for thinking for one's self.

IMO, some knew they were acting outside the law

Some were damn near clueless.
